Always There
Rain may fall; the sun will shine. You’re there grey skies or blue.
Flowers bloom; the lake freezes over. No matter the season, you are there with me.
That extra 10 pounds, a few grey hairs, even wrinkles…you don’t notice. You stay with me because, to you, I’m beautiful, special, your best friend...no matter what.
Bad days, sad days, happy days, busy days, any days. You comfort me, celebrate with me, help me through them all.
I appreciate you. Just being there. A part of me.
Loves may come; loves may go. You’re always there. Loving me. Trusting me. Caring for me.
I'm always there for you, too.
Years pass by; old friends die. You’re always there. In my heart. Forever.
