More mail from Sophie's puppies below...boy are they getting big!!

PHOENIX:
Thought I would send you some pictures of Miss Phoenix.  She is growing like a weed.  She loves the water and most of the pictures display such.
We are in the process of growing grass at our new house.  She thinks she owns the hoses and loves to play in the sprinklers.  It is like a day at the spa for her.  The last picture is her typical look after she soaks herself with the hose.  She loves to roll in the dirt and mulch.  We humans pay for mud baths, she manages to get several ones in each day for free :)!
She is doing great.  Continues to be very interested in birds.  Last weekend she swam in the pond with a duck.  Surprisingly, the duck wasn't afraid of her.  It was like they were teasing each other.  She dove in head first after it...all we could do was laugh.

Hi Holly and Mamma Sophie,
Just wanted to let you know I had a blast up at the cabin.  I swam and fetched sticks all weekend.  I was just exhausted so I crashed under the table and chair as you can see in the one picture.  I can't wait to go back again.

Happy 4th of July. Just thought I would send a few pictures of Phoenix.  She helped Dan dig out for the rain gutter down spouts.  It took Dan twice as long to finish the job since she was busy being the supervisor.  The last picture is her off to bed after a long day of play.  She continues to be so comfortable on her back whether she is sleeping, playing or being carried.

 Hi Holly,
Just thought I would send a few pictures of Phoenix.
We went up to the cabin this weekend and she had a blast again.  She loves the water and continues to be awesome at retrieving.  She does very well with other dogs.  She is great in the car too....very calm and relaxed, slept most of the way home on her back.

  Hi Holly,
...we are just proud of her and think she is absolutely beautiful.  Her coat and color are gorgous.  We adore her.  This picture is her waiting for the chipmunks in our yard.

Here is Miss Phoenix posing for our christmas card and playing in the snow for the first time.  She was hilarious.  Running and jumping at snow flakes or using her nose like a plow.  Let's just say she loves the snow.  We have had a blast playing with her.

TAHOE:

Hi Holly-I just wanted to give you an update of Tahoe-He is really great!  He sits, speaks and downs on command (most of the time).  He and Seeker the Fox Terrier in the pictures are still best buds-Reno is even becoming more tolerant of him (we caught him pulling on Reno's ear and Reno the adult Golden in the pictures didn't do anything!).

We bought him a wading pool several weeks ago and he and Seeker  are in it all the time.  When we set the pool up Tahoe jumped right in and then proceeded to pee in it!  But as my daughter said "typical boy in a swimming pool".

Oh, he is also growing in leaps and bounds-he'll be 14 weeks old and as of today he weighs 34 1/2 pounds!

Thanks again for this great little boy!

ABBEY:
Just wanted to share some recent pics with you. She was 28.1# on Saturday, gaining 3/4 of a pound every day. WOW  I've never had a happier dog - she loves everything about life every minute of every day.  Smart as a whip & naughty as the devil!!  We love her so much!!  Give Soph's a kiss & thank her for this precious gift!

Abby at 13 weeks.  28.1 pounds already!!

Pardon my dirty face, I've been busy digging to China.

Hmmmm
... What can I destroy with my sharp little puppy teeth today?

Happy Holidays!  Just wanted to share a current photo of Abby.  (She's on the right.)  She's such a great dog!

MURPHY:
Dear Holly;

I finally have a little time to sit dowm and send a few pictures of Murphy.  Things are going pretty good, the puppy stage is alive and well.  We thought it would be nice to send some pictuers and have a Murphy web update.

DAISY:
A lovely picture of Daisy at 3 1/2 months:

Just wanted to send you a couple of pictures of Daisy.  She is doing very well and I am adjusting to owning a dog.  It was very difficult in the beginning but now I pretty much have a handle on it.  We are still going through training.  She has gone many times to Peabody manor to visit the elderly and pretty much is the star of the day.   She is such a sucker for attention and the elderly just love to put their fingers through her wavy hair.  I'm enclosing a couple of pictures that were taken recently.  She has grown up so fast...Hope all is going well with you and Sophie.
